Thank you for joining us at the World's Largest Tamagotchi Wedding on August 10, 2025!

How many Tamagotchis were married? Over 200 participants convened at Cecil Community Centre to set the record for "Most Tamagotchis Married in 1 Hour". We successfully confirmed 162 Tamagotchi marriages, and welcomed guests from across North America to partake in this momentous occasion!

What is a Tamagotchi wedding? Imagine a mass marriage ceremony, Tamagotchi style! Tamagotchi devices can get married to other devices in-game. We orchestrated a mass celebration of Tama love and friendship to celebrate the weird and wonderful community that has found one another through the Toronto Tamagotchi Club.

Did we beat the record? This was an attempt to set a world record, since there is no pre-existing record for this. We never heard back from Guinness World Records, but it is certain that we are the first to do this!
